- »Will having extensions damage my real hair?
Absolutely not. If applied, cared for & removed no damage can occur.
- »Will I have to shave my head if I have dread extensions?
Again, absolutely not, dread extensions are applied in a manner that does not affect the natural hair, your hair will be the same as it was to begin with once the extensions are removed.
- »A lot of hair came out with the extensions, is this normal?
Yes, its natural to shed over 100 hairs everyday, but whilst wearing extensions these hairs cannot fall free so you will have 3 months of dead hair that will come out along with the extensions when they are removed, this is normal and nothing to worry about.
- »How do I care for my extensions?
Hair extensions are easily cared for, they can be washed & dried just like your natural hair and we will provide you with all the information you need during your apointment.
- »How long do the extensions last?
Regardless of the type of extension you have they should never be worn longer than 12 weeks, your hair will have grown considerably during this time and failure to remove the extensions could result in the new growth becoming tangled.
- »What about swimming, going out in the rain etc.?
You can swim, go out in the rain, face a windy day etc. without worry, the extensions look and behave just like your real hair, however some swimming pools especially abroad can have a high chlorine content then can effect the shade of blonde hair so make sure you check this beforehand.
»If you are coming to us for an appointment please take note:
Our workshop is located within a private residiential house. It is not a public salon and is also shared by more than one stylist. We have very limited space & we do not have a waiting area.
You are, of course, welcome to bring a friend along during your appointment but we politely ask that you let us know in advance. If you are bringing more than ONE person please arrange for them to wait for you elsewhere. Our workshop is located near a very busy highstreet with shops, cafe bars, restaurants and a cinema.
We will endeavour to give you the expected duration of your appt at the time of booking so any persons waiting for you will have an idea of how long you will be.
